Memories that weren't remembered...

Okay guys, so here we are again, bringing forth the good ol memories of good ol splashy... well.. not that they were really remembeed i guess but hence the reason we take photos right?

Well here is goood ol Dan and Nina.. ok.. Nina looks reasonable but i think Dan is.. lets just say, struggling a little. I think all he sees is that funnel in his dreams!

This was actually the Sunday i think. It was a rather mellow day as you can probably tell right.
Most peoople started departing the vibe and leaving the core of corruption, whilst the rest of us just parked, chilled and hummed to the mellow tunes of 'Zombie' (thanks to Roxy)

This was the real vibe. Bopping and humming away to the tunes at the Burn tent.. That's it ..Burn tent.. i can smell that jeolousy for all of you who didn't attend this fun festive event!
May i just add a little summin here on this space?...... Sheepdown... i want your babies! and some other band but can you believe i actually forgot their name.. wait for it...no.. But ill unravel the events of splashy in my head and im sure it'l pop up somewhere. I think it's called City Bowel Mizers... oh my word.. i think that was it! It must be love

I dunnno who looks more sober.. Kyle or Nina
Anyway.. this was at the top.. again.. in the Burn tent.

Haha... this was the Hippie tent. Funny enough.. they actually got raided:) Moo haha:)

And there we were again.. back at the campsite. Everyone stoked for life. Clearly you can see it was coming closer to leaving the good ol joint.

Moo haha .. there's a corsa in the backround!
That was a personal joke for all those withinn the vicinity of our camp site.

Dan and i...ya.. he was outta bounds for that evening, hence the tape.

Kyle... i dunno if that's so cool though

Moo haha. i stole Dan's camera:)

Paula and Kaylee (dunno which version of spelling-sorry;) anyway.. they were just.. chilling.

Rememeber i mentioned the funnel Dan was seeing in his dreams? That's it. i think everything and anything went in there from Vodka to potency to tequila to Brandy and even custard...aaargh.. somebody had to ruin it! I think you may even see the custrd curdling if you zoom in;)

My bro looking a little domesticated by cooking a little combination of scrambled eggs, bacon and bully beef..aaargh!

So that's the second version and hopefuly there'l be a third version somewhere?
ok... feel free to leave... comments:)

I'm not a bad person. Am i?

Hey all!

Well let me just start off by apologizing about the delay in my blog. The weekend just came and went and my head has just been spinning! At this moment in time, im sitting in front of my laptop with numerous thoughts and concerns gnawing away at every inch of my mind and body.
Ok, that was a litttle extreme but lets just say i gotta lot on my mind. never fear though. I'l begin this post by firstly unfolding my weekend for you.

As i scrolled through the messages on my phone, one popped up before my eyes, informing me that Friday's lectures were moved and there was no reason to go in to varsity. This was a relief, however meant little to me as i still woke up the usual time. Moving along.

After having worked friday night too, i received a phonecall from Lauren requesting that i join her and her boyfriend for an evening at 54. As mellow as i was, i agreed. We eventually ended up arriving at 54 at about 10:30pm. I was ready to crawl out of the window and dive for the threatening roads, as the two love birds started fighting, creating tension in the air. What a love hate relationnship. After having arrived at 54 and having my friend treaten him numerous times, we became acquinted with the car park as i tried to sway and convince her otherwise.

The tears were dried as i see the couple crossing the road, ennveloped in one another's arms. I managed to meet up with a couple of friends from Splashy. Read back to one of my previous posts- 'Why am i so fussy'. I spoke a little about a friend of mine. Anyway, he was there and i was introduced to a couple of his friends. Ok so many of you may or may not know that i'm speaking about a guy by the name of Troy. Anyway, let me firstly add something which i found rather disturbing. Don't worry, i'l get over it but at this point in time, im just trying to express my feelings here. I was rudely approached by the bouncer at the door. As i was walking through the doors and reaching for my wallet in my bag, the bouncer requested that he see my stamp. So clearly i had accidentally walked through the wrong side of the entrance. After having explained to him that i was prepared to pay, he was making out as though i was some sort of liar, and that i was trying to duck or something. Being rather defensive, i had shown him the wallet i had in my hand. Having glared at me for a couple of seconds, he then requested that he see my I.D. Obviously i no problem showing him. What made me want to strangle him anymore was that he glared at my drivers licence and back at me, with this look as though it wasn't me! i actually even laughed at him cause i really couldnn't believe it! H looked at the licence and back at me like three times! Now i have no problem them asking for I.D. etc but you don't have to firstly accuse me of being a liar and still treat you with such disrespect. How come you go to like Casablanca, Joe's etc annd they treat you with such respect and they're really awesome. I still remember the Tiger bouncers were so friendly and respectful! You come to 54 and they have this 'im a bouncer-beware' impression. Whatever! I'm over it now! Get a real job.... ok i'm sorry.. that was mean.

Moving along. Saterday ended up to be a rather short, yet enjoyable evening. I managed to get a photo with Lauren taken (yeh... show me sexy.. show me sexy)...sorry, however i don't know whether or not im prepared to post it yet. Let's just say it's not a true reflection of my beauty.. kiddin:) But seriousy.. aint gonna post that one.

So i stumbled into the house at about 12:15 (from tiredness, not booze) and managed to catch a couple hours sleep before the sun welcomed me with a beautiful day.. (how lame)
We had promised Troy and Daniel that we would watch rugby in Queensburough, as Troy played. So we graced them all with our presence and cheered on the sideline... ok so most of it was really just chatting but we cheered for them at half time. Does that count?
We ended up going to Daniel's place for a braai afterwards. We just chilled, listened to music and watched a dvd. We left fairly late (or early) as we realised it was like already 2:30am. I ended up just staying over at Roxy's house that evening. Having not eaten the whole day, it was goood to have a little something small to eat, befoore crawling into the bed and falling asleep.

Im just in a really difficult situation i really dont want to be in. It's a long complicated situation but lets say that i'm a bit hesitant seeing these friends of ours from splashy because one of their ex's is actually one of my friends and under no circumstances do i want it to look as though im disrespecting my friend whatsoever. If it'l make you understand a little more, go read the comments on my previous post. I have nothing to do with that specific issue, as it wasn't Troy's ex, but Daniel's. It just has an impact on me being able to see Troy though. It would be a real bummer if i couln't see him, cause we have so much fun together and we really do get on well, but if it means upsetting this friend, i may have to think twice about it. I mean, she's not a close close friend of mine, but it would still make me feel really bad. You could say that it has nothing to do with Troy and i, but it still puts me in an awkward situation, with the other two. Anyway, i'm sorry it's very vague and i hope you managed to make sense of all that. I didn't want my whole post to be about that because that would bore you way too much and it's really something that i gootta try figure out and don't want to sound like a morbid drip whatsoever. Im sure many of you reading may know the situation anyway. Whatever.. over it:)

On a lighter note, i'm proud to say that i only have 2days of varsity next week! That's right!
Friday is a public holiday (for those of you who didnt know) and Tuesday is also a public holiday. we then manged to twist a couple of the lecturers arms to give us monday off to. And now friday's lectures have fallen away cause we finished with the lectures for that particular module. Moo haha is all i have to say and sorry for all you!

Anyway.. that is news in my life. Well not all of it, but enough you have to know;)
I'm sorry if this post was a bit of a dampner but as i say.. just get over it!
cheers for now!

Some of my pics when i was a model...

Well.. there i was... galloping from one side of the varsity car park to the other, as i eventually became saturated in the downfalls of todays rain. That was just not on. My run started as a canter and gradually unfolded to become more of a stroll as e clutched the files under my arms. Having given up hope on saving my strategically straightened hair, i waved the cars go by as they raced past, making sure every puddle was eliminated as the tyres approached it, resulting in excess water spraying every inch of my body. Thanks for that. Considering today was a clinic day, and one in which we had to dress 'professionally' i ended up at the school (where the clinic was run), looking like a German Shepherd having gone through a washing machine over and over again.

So my manic run, ended up to be more of a stroll through the rain, as i lost all sense of hope, dragging my bag through the puddles, formed by the cracks on the roads.

I slumped in my car, squeezing the water from my clothes, as it peeled off my skin. I even turned the ignition on to dry my hair under the fan, thinking it would at least make my hair look a little more presentable. Man, was i wrong.

Anyway, as the clinic came to an end, it was required that all of us return to the university where lectures would proceed. Lauren and i had an alternative idea as we hopped in the car and proceeded on the road leading us back to Kloof, where i eventually crashed on my bed and ennded up sleeping for like 2hours in the downpour. Onnce i had woken up, i felt a little bad about missin the lectures but eventually got way way over it.

I then had to roll outt bed and get ready for work, as the sun was already settling in the distance. Work ended off rather mellow.

moving on.. i've come to the conclusion that im doing my hair again. My options are to become a potential blonde, by introducing subtle highlights, resulting in a possible overall subtle, not-too-striking blonde. My other option was my usual.. dark. this however often made me look a little goth but i did however use to get compliments. At the moment im swaying a little more to the blonde cause i havent had blonnde in a while. To create a more 'accurate' picture in your head, these will be the end results:

ok.. so this is what i will look like if i go blonde. Just a hint of blonde:)

And this is what i'l look like if i go darker:)

ok so that part was a joke but seriously you people, i need some suggestions mkay! Would be greatly appreciated!

Besides all that thinkinng and copyin and pastin.. it's time for me to go to bed.. got no varsity tomo which feels really goood:)

ok so it's a little late, but get over it...

ok so scrolling through the Thunda.com site, out of the nnumerous amounts of photos taken on Friday, 13th of April, i managed to stumble across this one.. Look familiar:)
Well.. thats Roxy an i having an awesome evening. We only managed to get there at like 12:30 and stayed till about 2:00am. We were probably like the most casual people there, seein it was like last minute. What a jol. Believe it or not but that's actually water:)

Mxit- screw it!

aargh.. after having a super hectic day at varsity, consisting of three presentations and a report to write, my cellphone manages to flicker on and off into mxit.

Man, i was so excited to finally have it loaded onto my phone, after they previously told me i don't have a sony ericsson, on the download page, which of course i do have.
So anyway, a lot of frustration was put to rest when i managed to download the not so cool ,'upgraded' version. So there i am.. awaiting this moment for how long, im like a kid with a new toy. Until... i start sending and recieving messages. It just aint happening for me! i would like send a couple messages and after that, no more would go through? Then people would send me messages of which i would not recieve? Yet, as i first login, it sometimes has the ability to send and receive.

Today i had a full on conversation yet it seemed as though after some time the conversation was like cut. I dunno if anyone out there experiences the same sort of problems or am i just hallucinating?
And to all those people who were thinking of writing a pathetic little message as to hoow they dont agree with mxit or how they dont like it, don't lie to yourselves. It's awesome and you know it! Sometimes it just requires a lotta patience!

Anyway.. thanks for your sympathy and time:)

Ok guys.. will keep youi more updated when more photos come in..

Man, why am i SO fussy?

Man what a day.. So freezing that i had to defrost the ice formations moulded on my toes and scurry from my bed to the bathroom. My garden became saturated as i peered ouside my bedroom window and the droplets formed patterns on the glass.

So as i roll into my car, i hit the roads and head off to Roxy's house where we were to watch 'Borat'...moo haha and 'Johnny Tucker must die'. I became anxious as i stared at the two dvd boxes, my hands sweating to reveal the shiny cd's reflecting their glistening light at me.
Opening the one, i felt at complete awe when i saw the Borat dvd. All is not over yet. The seond box is opened at i felt the colour drain from my face as Roxy says ' what the hell..' i peer over , only to expect the worst. Some pathetically, lame excuse of a Western movie was sitting in the very pocket' of where 'Johnny Tucker Must Die' was suppose to be. Anyway.. the first thing that came to mind amongst the three of us (Roxy, her brother and myself) was Carpe Diem- sieze the day. We werten't gonna allow anything to dampen our day. I wouldn't know who is trying to get us back at summin or what plans they thinking of as revenge but that was just not cool hey. But we continued to hold our heads up high throughout the movie Borat. Ok so occasionally we bowed and shook our heads i shame throughout the movie(as most of you can imagine) but otherwise all was good...

Ok.. so then we became aqcuinted with the coffee shop 'House of Coffees' where Roxy's mom was kind enough to buy us lunch and steaming cuppacinos. We were led to believ there were rather 'dodgy characters working here. As Roxy left the message 'Mwah' on the bill, our assumptions were swayed otherwise as the waitor was left blushing behind doors.

The day settled as Roxy and i stood like bouncers at the doors of our work.. Spur (hostess, NOT a waitress:) So we kinda managed to que and we kind of got over the whole scene when we sat down with Roxy's family and joined them for dinner.
Next plan up was dvds at my house, considering the weather was still threatening a holocaust.
We managed to snuggle up amongst mounts of blankets as we slipped the dvd 'Wedding Crashers' in. We got half way until we got an invite to join a couple of friends at 54. So there we are.. the two of us getting ready for 54 at like 12:00 in the evenining. We only managed to arrive at 54, once half the crowds were drunk and ready to catch their taxis to escourt them to their destinations, wherever that may be. So we made attempts at smiling at people as we walked through the doors and were welcomed with squint eyes and the stenshes of stale booze. But still, we managed to over come the thick shadows of 'drunkeness' and recahed our destination- the dance floor of 54.

So we managed to meet up with a couple of mates and were welcomed by many other familiar faces. We only ended up arriving there at like 12:30am, but the floor was pumping with awesome music. It was really amazing as we managed to meet up with tons of friends. The music at this time was house and a little trance, which got everybody moving.
We even managed to hook up with a couple of friends from Splashy, which felt like a real Splasht reunion! It just became a little intense when one of the guys confessed his feelings for Roxy and another guy for me. Its a pretty long story and i really dont know what's gonna happen from here, but lets just say that this guy has such an amazing heart. I'm not gonna go into too much detail but it's pretty intense and it often leaves me thinking. Man, he really is special though..

Moving on from all that...we managed to depart 54 at about 2:00am and once more headed for the.. moonlight. No alcohol in the system and we still managed to have an awesome time.

So today, now, i sit here and await. This 'amazing-but-unsure-boy' asked me if i wanted to go watch him play rugby in Martizberg today cause he plays club rugby. Rovers i think. But due to excessive amounts of varsity and my procrastination abilities, i had to turn him down. Man why am i so fussy? I'm waiting for Roxy to come around with the photos from Splashy so just hang in there. It'l be up soon soon. And we also got a couple of action shots from last night so il post those up to. Till then.. see ya and will definately keep you updated!

Joe Kools... so cool!!!

Well.. ya.. i'm sitting on a frikkin Friday evening at ...(pause) 3:01am in the morning. that previous statement did not make sense did it?Anyway.. just get over it! And another thing you must seriously get over is that i'm a little behind cause im writinng Thursday's news on Friday evening.... or early saterday morning.. whatever... i'm over it so you better be!

Moving along with this pathetic page of nonsense.. Im gonna start off by telling you about my eventful yet intersting two days. They are pretty cool so carry on reading, you poor little bored pieces of chicken squirt. ok by now, im sure you can judge that it is way to late for me to actually function...or too early.. Whatever here we go!

So work greeted me with a middle finger last night with min customers to welcome. But thats ok i guess cause i had to retain the smiles for Joe Kools.. Yay!Well thats what i orignally chanting in my head before i got home. I walked into the door and i felt the flames envelop every part of my body as i approached my mother and requested to use her car for the evening. Well, as far as i can remember, those were my final words of my suicide! For some reason, i could hear nothing but i assure you that her lips were chanting the words of a new language.
Annyway.. lets just fast forward that part.............................

Ok.. sorry.. couldnt push it through the evening so i came with the wise idea of saving the previous part of this blog as a draft and i'm back... and more sane.

Moving on... Roxy and were kindly escourted through the doors of good ol Joe Kools, by her cousin Luke and his friend Matt. What kind people. After having cleared a 2litre bottle of Sprite and Cane between the two of them and allowing us to quench our thirsts with a little taste, we were ready for Joes. So there we are.. walking along the car park as we get picked up by one of these go carts and gradually and gracefully make our way to the entrance of Joes. I must say.. the four of us were in bliss as the wind was flapping gracefully through our hair. Where was FHM when you needed them. I honestly think we should have their number on speed dial in desperate situations like these.

So, as unfortunate as it was.. we lost our escorts as lets just say they were not 'compatible' for Joes on this particular evening. Never fear that you got bounced though guys, i will never mention your names on this sight, Luke and Matt. Oh my.. they probably gonna kill me. Anyway.. Roxy and i being compatible approached Joes with arms wide open, as the other two scurried along to Sun Coast Casino. So not all was bad for them. They managed to coin R200 and approached the doors of Joes an hour later with a smile on their face and an extra R200 in their pockets. It must have been the confidence that allowed them to enter Joes the second time. It was like an Axe advert. Spray the Axe and you'l even have the bouncers running after you after a couple of woofs. Anyway.. so there they were. They entered Joes and paused as the beaming strobe lights emphasized their masculine bodies and dark complexions. Their hair was flapping under the air conditioners... i mean... the wind..
Until they see two beautifully striking girls sitting at the bar and waddled their way to make an approach. They greeted us with smiles and cash. All was good... ecxept lazy buggars didn't share and they ended up walking away with R40 in their wallets by the end of the evening.

Well... Joes was the place to be that evening. We met up with a couple of friends who attracted the sparkiling eyes of Roxy as she approached them with confidence.I however followed her like a chicken waddling across the dance floor. Anyways.. if you read a couple blogs back, i mentioned about going to a 21st? This was Jonothan and his friends. They were so much fun this evening. They managed to take the opportunity of the doubles -for-R10 special and boughtlike 12 double vodka and cokes before the clock striked eleven. Roxy and i on the other hand being students.. were broke. We still managed to have fun anyway.
So the evening was spent dancing and sliding across the dance floor of Joes as the bar was attended to occasionally. Oh my... don't you love the song 'How to save a life'... by the Fray? Love it!

So the hour hand managed to somehow reach two o'clock as Roxy and i gradually made our way to the car, dragging the other two guys behind us. Man.. what a beautiful evening. So beautiful that Luke managed to fall asleep on Matt's lap, as Matt was gracefully stroking his hair.... Only kiddin.. i made that part up but Like did fall asleep in the car.

So, the daylight was starting to subtly grace us as i managed to crash on my bed but only fall asleep at like 4am. The Friday morning greeted me with a middle finger as i had to roll otta bed once again...

I lost a friend, yet gained my self..

Hhmm.. approaching the doors of Stokers on the fine evening of Monday, it came to my suspicion that summin was just not right.

Ok so i received an sms that day to meet a couple of fellow school friends at Stokers as the clock strikes 7:00pm- Well actually that for us means 7:30pm.
So i arrive at 7:30pm with no one from school in sight just yet, except for her.....
Thats it, i saw her as she was swaying in the arms of her boyfriend, and as i most kindly tapped her on the shoulder and acknoweledged her, the presence of a stranger greeted me with shock and surprise. Don't pretend that you're excited to see me again and try make up a number of excuses why you haven't had my nnumber. Dont even try to make me feel better by telling me you've been trying to find it for years. We all belong in the same group of friends, of which every one of them has my number.
Then there is the small talk with the little smile that says 'im pretending i'm happy for you but i'm not really', as she subtly marks her territory in her boyfriend.
It's kind of like, 'look what i have...oh wait.... your's is coming right?... did he go to the bathroom?... where is he?' Yip... that sort of look!

Lets just say we were best friends. Really good friends. Until the earth took a couple of turns around the sun and her head grew a little as she was constantly approached by new guys, requesting for her number. What can i say? I have nothing to hold against her anymore.
I just wish she could stop being so fake. She has this ability to make you feel so inferior when you're around her. High school was a constant battle of dress-to-impress. I LOVED high school at the time but so often you get caught up in the curent of life that you never actually stop to realise who your true friends are. Man have a learnt a lot since i've left school.

I've learnt to accept the fact that there will be people out there that you may not get on with, even if you fight with every inch of your body to agree to. I've had friends tthat have both found and lost love, life, friends, family and even their own self. Through the interaction with these people, i learn to grow an attachment and learn to love these people because they make life worth living and not because of their clothes, their boyfriends or evenn their intelligence. Instead, they are the people i can run to when i feel like i'm choking and drowning in the floods of life. They gradually lift me up from my emptiness and fill me with a sense of hope and the ability to dream beyond my life now. They meet me in rags rather than beauty and they don't judge but rather they listen.

Often i look back at the people who, played a large role in my life, moulding me to become who i am today and i begin to appreciate every person for that. I just don't like it when people are false. Being false won't build me as a person, it won't offer guidanec and support and it definnately won't make me admire you at all. Don't show me your physical beauty, you wealth, your boyfriend or even your intelligence. Instead offer me guidance, show me love and compassion and above all, show me your weaknesses and rags too.Don't ever make me feel as though i'm the only one with the faults and that my life needs to be adjusted to become more like yours. Then what do you have to offer?

I will continue to greet you and make every effort to meet you where you are at. Coffee would even be great, but don't expect that respect to come back in a day. At the same time, i wil not curse this time in my life as it has drawn me to other friends and from there, these friends have become my true soul mates. I have never been in a situation where i dislike someone. But as i sit here, pondering upon Monday night's conversation, i await for that sms of yours...

Last year's Splashy

Splashy Fen...Oooh my!!!!

Let me just tell you my friends what an amazing frikkin time i had, camping amongst the shittiest shitholes of splashy and the continuous stenches of either horse shit near our tent or someone's reocurring bile playing up on them, spraying the evidence amongst the saturated, muddy grounds of Slashy Fen.... I loved it!!!!

So this is where it all started...
My brother, Carla and i singing and bopping away to the loving, happy feel-good tunes of Placebo (ya right) and Underoath, as our bakkie makes it's way through the good hearts of Underberg, we begin to wave our sorrows goodbye and enter a new realm of lets just say... complete awe!
Moo ha ha... The sun starts setting, as the dust sprays itself on the glistening vapour of the car windows. Beyond, we begin to screw our eyes to identify any sign of red car lights ahead. At this point, the car was leading us to our destiny..our place of being. We lose the lights, we lose the track. No fear as Splashy is near.

There it approached us like a mirage.. Closer and closer the sight became visible. It was as if there we were, stranded in a desert, gasping for every breath of air and snatching for any sign of water. After 3hours of driving, what d'you expect?
The moon hovered over us, as our possessions splattered the ground like a splattered bug, being smothered by the windscreen wipers of a car.

Well, of coarse, we were all greeted with brotherly love, open arms and a drink at hand.So my brother, Carla and Daniel managed to flip the tent in a number of angles until it was stable enough to stop the minutist bit of fresh air (well so we thought). We wouldn't want to mention that the tent actually collapsed by the second or third night. Those dam tents! Who ever invented tents that collapsed so soon! I mean, what were those spare pegs in the tent for? And those frikkin ropes at the side of tent? Those things only ever got in the way!
Anyway.. my evening was spent in the back of the bakkie, rather than a tent. None of the guys were in the condition to put up my tent, considering they were a little dysfunctional at the time and cause the other tent took them 2hours to put up! Thats it.. two frikking hours! We told them they should'v just used the manual! But those are obviously ban at Splashy!

Moving on... the evenings were spent either watching bands, drinking, chatting and huddling around the rained-out, smoky, non existant fires that now became dormant.
The first evening, i made an aqcuantance. His name was Nico (I think that's how you spell it?)
Anyway, there we were, chilling at the top and waving our hands in the air as the bands took over the stage like a dog on heat. Eventually it was time to do a little exploring. We walked around the campsite until it started to piss with rain! Eventually the two of us were galloping down the banks and slipping at our haunches, whilst leaping across the campsites. I felt like E.T flying across the moon. We eventually approached our tent... or not... This couple of who's veranda we were standing on welcomed us in for a couple of drinks and a bit of hubbly. What a friendly couple they were. So the evening was chilled in their tent.

Next morning approaches me with a numb bum and frost covering my feet, as i gradually awakened to the smiles of strange people walking past the bakkie. Bullybeef and corn was on the menu for breakfast. Having to hold my breath and listen to the crampings of my stomach, i managed to swallow. From there on, i either starved, or made use of the food stores. The day was spent drinking around the fire and meeting starnge people of the campsite. Three men in orange approache us with a funnel, loving arms and an outfit proclaiming, 'The liver must die".
So we got a couple of photos of Daniel and Troy making use of the funnel and everything that went in there including Vodka, Potency, beer, brandy and even frikkin custard! Ok i dunno who put the custard in, but they managed to finish it! Eeeeww.. i would seriously chuck!

The second day i managed to hook up with a friend of mine Jonothan and i met all his friends. We even met a Norwegian guy and a Polish guy! (Who the hell knows where the Norwegian guy came from..he just kinda parked off with us... But that was frikin awesome anyway!)
We spent a good couple of days and nights with this crowd and had the most awesome time ever! We didnt even have a lot to drink and we were platsered with joy! aaaaahhhh...
The bands were so amazing! We even ended up doing some irish dance with this Norwegian guy and all Joes friends. Okay, but i skipped quite a bit. That was like the third night.

Then there was the second night. I hardly had anything to drink and so Daniel introduced me to a new drink of his.. Cant remember what it was. It was in a two litre sprite bottle and i think i must'v had most of it. It was realy good and light... so i thought. Anyway, a couple of us ended up at Kev's campsite where we met a couple of Kev's friends that night too:)

A lot of people decided to leave the Sunday. Okay so we kind of thought of that idea too but the mud and rain was actually detrimental to our departure! So we decided to get our money's worth and spend till the end which was Monday. Sunday was actually one of the better days! We just messed around the campfire most of the time and met even more people from Swaziland!
See how Splashy brings people together:)

The final night, Roxy and i decided that the saturated duvets, blankets and pillows weren't gonna work for us. So back in the bakkie we go. Roxy slept in the back seat, whilst myself and Troy slept in the front. I hardly got a wink of sleep that night. The handbrake wasn't cool at all! I mean, why put a hanbrake there??

The next morning approahed us with tears as we had to depart, The suns rays actually welcomed us back onto the roads(typical-sunny when you leave and rains when you stay).
The trip back was rather exciting actually. Having stopped at a petrol station and a Spar we managed to buy a feats of pies, macaroni and cheese, drinks and kick off for the roads again.
The journey back was rather eventful. Amongst the mud slides, the road blocks, the moonings from our friends in front of us, the cattle walking into the road, we managed to get home in one piece (surprisingly).

Man oh man.. as i waddled into the house, the first thing i did was approach the bath with a welcoming. The bath however was not enough and thus straight after, i became aquinted with the shower. Ok so this is the story, i should be gettin a lot of the photos from splashy a ittle later today and will be able to give you a much better idea of...
How frikkin fun Splashy was! Ok... counting down till the next one.....

A good enough reason...

Hey all!

Ok so i know its been way too long since my previous post! But i'm upping my game.
Let me just begin by adding that varsity has been overboard hectic! The letters on my keyboard are even wearing away as we speak and are doing funny, innvolentary stuff, which may i add is not due to tto much blogging but merely due to the fact that i have so many frikkin assignments of which i should be doing right about..... now. But no.. i'm here blogging away.. boo haha!

May i just add that im so over varsity! I think i'm in pretty much in all my lecturers bad books at this moment in time. How i got there, who the hell knows, but it aint a good place to be!
Well, the last two weeks have been suicidal for me and iv had two 31/2 year old clients to test for hearing. Neither being cooperative whatsoever (oobviously) hence both sessions went downhill from there. The one child wouldnt even let me topouch his head cause he had like some sort of phobia for people touching his head or ears. So i passed the first session, provided my lecturer granted me the hairy eyeballs. The seconnd session, well i'm yet to see. It tends to be a momet of suicide as a self evaluation is expected of us after every session. i.e. provides us with the opportunity to feel overly depressed about life and adds a little kick in the ass when your already on the floor. Moving on...

Im on holiday at this moment in time. Ok so it's only for 10days but its sufficient to regain my sanity. Ok lets just take into considerationn the fact that i have like six assignments due the first two weeks back....aaargh!

so thats the reason i've been like a hermit crab these past say two weeks!

Other 'highlights' as such of last week included gracing 80s with my presence.
Man what an evening! Met a bunch of great guys who were more than happy to buy us drinks and just have a jol. The one guy was half italian, which was pretty cute, when he try to charm me with the language. So he thought this would score him a couple of browny points, which may i add he did, but when he mentioned he was keen and all, i was like hang on boy, here's my number, dwell on it. So lets just say there's nothing a couple coffees wont do. So we still keep in touch which is awesome and we'l defiately be seeing each other again soon...

Haha.. it all actually started when Roxy losed me to buy some smokes. I was approached by this kind smile, asking whether or not i was alone and if i wanted company. With arms wide open to any new person, i agreed for him to sit down next to me and get to know each other better.

anyway.. took that week easy, as i knew what was soon to be approaching the following weekend... splashy!
